Ever
since I had to teach a lesson on fungi to my seventh grade class, I have wanted
to become a teacher. I am a natural leader and I look forward to being able to
stand in front of a class full of teenagers and help them learn and grow. I love
knowing that I have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many
and serve as a role model, coach and friend. I look forward to interacting with
all different kinds of people and working at a job that brings new joys and
challenges every single day. Finally, being part of a profession that is
currently undergoing many changes excites me because I know I will have the
opportunity to speak my mind and fight for what I believe is best for students.
Overall, I am eager to become a teacher and feel that it will be a very
challenging, but rewarding career.
